“The Cathedral exists to build a life-giving church that unchurched people will love to attend.”
The Cathedral will be a place where people gather every Sunday morning in worship and various times throughout the week to grow in their relationship with God. We want The Cathedral to be known as a life-giving church. That means we will create a culture that promotes reaching people for Jesus, a culture that takes loving our neighbors as ourselves literally, and a culture that anyone regardless of where they are in life can find and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
The Cathedral’s movement is always forward. We are about building people up, not tearing people down (1 Thess 5.11). We believe God’s people should be known for what we are for rather than for what we are against. We are for building an ever-expanding church which provides an atmosphere where people can experience God and experience life like they have never experienced before.
The Cathedral will be a church who thinks for the people who aren’t there yet. That means every weekend service is about God’s people serving guests. We’re not a country club or an island unto ourselves. We exist for those who don’t know Christ and make decisions about everything we do thinking about the unchurched person. This means creating an exciting and vibrant atmosphere in worship, applicable teaching, safe and dynamic children’s ministry and nursery, and a hospitality team that would put the Ritz-Carlton to shame.[/accordion][/accordiongroup]
